Konstantin Vasilyevich Nazarov (born 20 December 1905) is the doyen of Soviet weightlifting: Merited Master of Sport, Merited Cultural Worker of the RSFSR, honorary president of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF), docent.

He began lifting in 1923 at Sergey Dmitriyev's Moscow "Arena of Physical Culture", trained first under A. V. Bukharov, and won seven medals at USSR championships as a light-heavyweight and heavyweight. He set three national snatch records (108 and 112.6 kg, then 122 kg) and won the 1937 Workers' Olympiad in Antwerp; the class there was up to 85 kg.

Nazarov coached the national team from 1945 to 1951. As the first Soviet member of the IWF he was vice-president from the 1952 Helsinki congress until 1968, and later honorary president. At home he served the federation as presidium secretary and chairman of the judges' board.

He taught weightlifting before the war, and after Army service (1941–1946) at Leningrad and Moscow institutes. He chaired the veterans' council from 1968 to 1980, and as an international judge sat on the Olympic appeals jury in 1952–1964. Though retired since 1975, he headed the judges at the 1984 Kurynov memorial youth competitions in Kazan. He holds USSR Sports Committee diplomas, the Olympic Cross of Finland and an Iranian sports order.
